Pregnancy - 6 Weeks and a Surprise!

Today we had our ultrasound of our little peanut growing inside me! As soon as the doctor turned on the ultrasound he said “Oh my gosh, I think there are 2 babies in there!”….Akhil shrieked and said “WHHHHAAAT?!?!” I was pretty silent due to shock, I couldn’t get a single word out!

The first baby was easy to find in the yolk sac and we heard the heart beating which was amazing! Now it seems more real that I am not all alone here anymore! Then he moved the probe onto the second sac. We were able to see the sac very easily but it was harder to see the baby. The baby is a bit smaller than the first. We couldn’t hear the heart beat of the second baby but did see something quivering on the monitor which the doctor confirmed was the heart beating!

Wow! Not sure how this twin thing happened but we both are SUPER excited and in shock right now! It has been really hard to fathom that I am pregnant (it doesn't seem all that real) and now the news of having twins inside me is even harder to believe!!! It is sooo amazing!

But I definitely can feel that my uterus has been growing everyday!

I can't believe these little babies are inside me and are going to turn into little people! WOW! Yippeee!!!

Oh yeah and one more thing, our due date has been changed to July 14th! I am glad to hear I am one day closer!

PLEASE REMEMBER ALL OF THIS IS STILL A SECRET AND I DON'T WANT ANYONE OUTSIDE OF THIS BLOG TO KNOW ANY OF THIS JUST YET!!!! I will let you know when we decide to tell people.
