Oh Baby!

Things are going well here. My cousin, Shreya and my aunt were visiting this past week which was fun. The girls had a great time with them! They are really becoming more interactive which has been alot of fun! Both of them continously amaze me!

2 Months Old!

The girls are two months now...wow! Time has gone by so fast! It seems like they have been here forever! I am having so much fun with the both of them! It is so amazing how much they are changing every single day... Both of them started to smile last week...it is soo adorable!

Arya and Amiya haven't had their two month checkup yet but Akhil is obessed with weighing them daily to track their growth. So if Akhil's estimations are correct Arya is 9 lbs and Amiya is about 8 lbs.

It was funny...I put the both of them together on the boppy pillow and they locked lips and I somehow got a picture. Then Arya started screaming so loudly and Amiya was just looking at her with happiness! It was so cute!

Screaming Girls

The past few weeks Arya and Amiya have been noticing each other more and more. I try to put them together as much as I can after I feed them to play together. But many times one falls asleep after a feeding and so there is no sister-sister playtime.

Typically when I put them together one of them gets excited and wants to kick and touch the other baby Here are some funny pictures of them both screaming to get away from one another...

Arya was in such a playful and happy mood one afternoon so I took her outside for a photo session. I thought she would be mad that I took off her clothes but she didn't care. Here is a cute picture of her in the grass. :)

Things are continuing to go well here with the girls. The first couple of weeks were a bit overwhelming for me since I instantly had two babies to take care of. But the past couple of weeks things have calm down and us three are into our routine now.

It really hasn't been so crazy taking care of Arya and Amiya. They are really easy babies and sleep sooo much. Well let me clarify, Amiya sleeps a lot and Arya wants to stay up if she knows we are awake. She wants to be where all the action is! Arya also has one great set of pipes...she screams so loud that I don't even use a monitor for her in our house. In fact, when I go and sit out on the patio I don't even take her monitor because I can hear her scream bloody murder that her pacifier fell out! Ha! Amiya is still her calm self but is slowly beginning to voice her opinion when she feels like it. :)

Its always so hard to get a good picture with both girls! Amiya looks mad in this picture but she wasn't upset!

Akhil and Amiya are looking out the window. This is Amiya's favorite thing to do. One day she stared out the window all evening and then when the sun went down she cried because there was no more sunlight!
