Colorado

For my mom's 60th Birthday, we took a family trip to Vail, Colorado. We rented a big beautiful house that all 18 of us stayed in. It was a week filled with good quality family time, eating, drinking, and exploring Colorado.

Arya and Amiya had a great time there. They loved every bit of being with Dilan and Gia. They loved taking the gondola ride to the top of the mountain, seeing horses, going for walks, playing at the playground, swimming, not taking naps, going to bed late, and being spoiled with a lot of attention!

It defintely was a great memory for all of us.

The four of us started the trip by spending a couple of days exploring Denver. Here are the girls peering outside our hotel window early in the morning.

Denver is a great city for children. It is so kid friendly. All the nicer resturants had high chairs, kids menus, and crayons.

We went to the Denver Aquarium, which the girls absolutely loved!

We met up with my parents and the rest of the family at the airport and drove 2 hours to Vail. We stayed in a beautiful HUGE house which we all loved!

It is quite fashionable with the Dora pajamas!

Amiya has 4 bathing suits on her..wrapped around her neck and legs! She loves putting them ontop of her clothes! Not sure why I get these girls dressed in the morning. They always have something else in mind!

I heard some screaming in the playroom while I was cooking in the kitchen. I hear the screaming getting closer and closer to me. So here you see they are fighting over this toy and the both had a tug of war over it while they walked over to mommy the referee. I asked "who had it first", of course both of them said that they did. The end result was that no one got the toy and they were actually okay with that!

We watched the rain pour from the garage and then the girls wanted to stomp in the rain puddles so that gave us a reason to wear rain boots!

Hair clips, hair clips, hair clips...they make a mess out of them every day!

They put on as many as their hair will hold at one time!

Amiya always has to switch on and off the lights in a room. So she got quite inventive here in being able to do it on her own. Of course Arya is silently watching because she knows better than to stand on a wobbly box!
