Silly Fun Girls

The picture below shows Arya and Amiya with their Dora balloons. Akhil's sister Anjali stopped by one night to drop them off for the girls. So I put them by their chair at the kitchen table. I knew they would go nuts when they saw the Dora balloons in the morning and of course they did! They were so excited over Dora because she is their absolute favorite right now...I take that back she is their favorite next to Ke$ha!

Now that they can open all the doors in the house, their favorite hot spot is the kitchen pantry. It is now a constant disaster because of my two tornados that go through it hourly!

Here is happy Arya after just coming home from a long day at the hospital with getting tubes in her ears. March was a very tough month for her with never ending ear pain, fluid and infections. So we opted to get tubes in her ears about a week ago which seem to have helped so far :)

Amiya decided to open up the closet and pull out the vacuum. She is loves vacuums and get so excited when she sees them. I was on the phone and I looked over and there she was pushing the vacuum around!

Easter Egg Hunt

For Easter I hid some plastic eggs for the girls. It was so cute that they were so into the egg hunt! The were hunting all over for the eggs and when they found the eggs they were so excited to see Dora and Elmo stickers!

I told them that we are going on an Easter Egg hunt so they need to get their Dora purse to put the eggs in it. They both ran to get their Dora purse and then began hunting for eggs on their own!

After they found thier eggs I gave them thier Easter basket which was filled with books, bubbles, and a Hello Kitty stuffed animal. Of course they were excited for their gift from the Easter bunny!

Welcome Spring...FINALLY!

Hooray its April and the weather is finally getting better! We really haven't been up to all that much but since it began to get nice out the girls have been itching to go outside. It is really exhausting to take them both outside to play because Amiya just runs away and Arya just wants me to hold her. So I am typically holding Arya and chasing after Amiya. Then when it is time to go inside, Amiya has a fit and I have to carry them both in the house! Hopefully the summer won't be like this, otherwise I will never take them outside unless they are in the wagon or stroller. (which they commonly refuse both!)





Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks.

The girls have gotten into the whole dress up world! They love wearing their little tutu's! Many times they refuse to take them off and we have to go out with them on or eat with them on!

We went to a Spring Fling and Amiya ran so fast to the bunny, knocking out other kids in line waiting to get their picture taken. She was so excited about the bunny that she did this many times at the event. I am sure the photographer was so annoyed that she kept disrupting other children's photo ops!

Arya and Amiya definitely have each other's back. Amiya was in time out and so Arya just layed on her the entire time to give her a big nice sisterly hug!

So much for being punished...they usually have fun together in time out!
