7 Months!

My little girls are getting so big and so active! They are really growing and getting so heavy for me to carry around! Amiya loves to eat food! She eats anything I give her – bananas, sweet potato, apples, pears, avocado, carrots, and yes PEAS! She LOVES peas! (Seriously, who loves peas? Ick!) Last night I had to make more peas for her because she was eating it like crazy! Arya eats food when she is in the mood but has gotten so much better with it. The only thing she absolutely loves and can’t get enough of is CHEESE! Yes she is just like Akhil…a huge cheese lover!

In the past month, Amiya has gotten her two bottom teeth. One week the first tooth made its grand entrance and then two weeks later the second tooth appeared!

Arya loves her toes even more now and puts them in her mouth…especially when her diaper is getting changed.

Both girls love drinking water from their sippy cups! Arya sometimes will drink her milk from the sippy cup and will refuse to drink it from the bottle!

Their backs are getting stronger and they are sitting up for a little bit at a time. They are not completely sitting but they are almost there!

Arya is now 27 inches (75th percentile..wow!) and 15 lbs and 2 oz
Amiya is 26 inches and 14 lbs and 7 oz

It gets slobbered on every minute of the day by Arya and Amiya!

Rolling Girls

The other day Arya and Amiya were playing together so I took this cute picture of them together.

Next thing I knew it, Amiya rolled on top of Arya. I thought Arya would be mad and scream.

But they both loved it and Amiya stayed on top of her like this for few minutes until she was able to roll off!

A Change in Routine..

So now when we got so secure in our daily routine I decided to go back to work! I am working part-time which hopefully won't be so bad. I started this past week at my previous job. The first day was hard and I was so sad without the girls. I don't think I stopped thinking about them for a minute! Two days of work and five days with the girls shouldn't be so bad. The days I do work are pretty hectic with getting them ready and out the door in the morning. Akhil actually LOVES the days I work because he gets a whole half hour to see the girls. (usually its like five minutes..if that!). Arya and Amiya are adjusting to their new routine and new school. I can tell that it has made a difference with Arya...she now doesn't fight me with eating solids and she finally rolled over. I think she is noticing what her baby peers are doing!
