Happy Halloween!

Arya and Amiya had a blast trick or treating! We talked so much about it beforehand but I don't think they really understood it until we starting going door to door. After about 3 houses I thought we would just head home but they just wanted to keep going. They really had so much fun saying trick or treat and then getting some fun snacks in their buckets. Thankfully they didn't get much candy. They got mostly crackers, pretzels, and raisins which they were so excited over!
I wanted them to be two different costumes but they both had their heart set on being Hello Kitty. I tried to convince them otherwise but they were set on it. They both were so excited to put their costume on. They both were dancing like little ballerinas with so much glee! It was so cute and so girly!

Here they are with their friend Bruno. We went trick or treating with him and they were so delighted to walk with him! :)
We went out for about 45 minutes which was long enough for them. Akhil missed trick or treating because he got stuck at work late that night :(
It was a cool night so we needed our jackets. It took away from the costumes but oh well..
Digging through their buckets to check out all the goodies that they got!

Fall into Fall

In October we went to Boo-ville in Brecksville which was a really fun Halloween party hosted by our town. They really out did themselves in decorations and festivites. The girls had a blast there and so did we! Here we are waiting for Outback Ray to start his reptile show.

Amiya holding on tightly to her treats!

Outback Ray asked for volunteers after each reptile he took out. Amiya was so anxious to be able to assist him. She was eagerly raising her hand to get up on stage every time he asked for volunteers! It was so cute!

Amiya had fun messing up all the decorations.
We finished off the Halloween Party by playing outside on the playground after eating lots of sugary sweets, doing art projects, playing games, and see reptiles.

Here Amiya is trying to get one purse to hold as Arya has all the purses hung on her arm!

We went to Pattersons Farm to have fun with some fall festivities.
It was such a beautiful hot fall day! We all had such a great time!

Here the girls are going through all their school Halloween treats.
They were so excited to see all the goodies that they got.

Cuddling on the sofa while watching Dora :) too cute!

Fall Fun!

Decorating the windows for halloween with bats and spiders. Shortly after the girls put the spiders on the windows, they all disappered. I asked the girls what happened to the spiders and Arya said she threw them in the garbage because she doesn't like bugs! Ha! So now we only have bats hanging on our windows.

Doing pumpkin art projects with the girls. Yes the did get paint all over their clothes! Thankfully we did this outside because there was paint all over the table too!

Playing in the leaves on a drizzly wet afternoon

They fight over who gets to help me clean after meal time..

They both went in the closet and grabbed my shoes...here they are trying on my "ballet shoes" as they call them...
Both girls were so happy that they got smiley faces on their hands because they were the only ones to help clean up the toys in their class :) Wish that would work at home!

Fall...

We went to a birthday party and the girls were so excited to ride the pony. We didn't think Arya would follow through but she did.
After riding the pony, Amiya went off with our friend and got her arm painted. She was so decisive on getting a purple ball. We weren't allowed to wash her arm or push her sleeves down for days!

Arya is busying "shopping"
Whenever we go to my parent's house, Arya always has to put a sticker on her nose and then get a foot massage from my dad ;)
While I was cooking dinner, the girls were giggling up a storm and pushed the office chair into the family room. They thought it was the funniest thing ever

Giving Amiya company while she was in timeout...(always a team!)
Red week at school! For the past 8 weeks, there was a color theme and they had to wear the color of the week. I had so much pressure from Arya to make sure I had them wear the color of the week every day!
This is what happens when Arya asks Daddy to do her hair...my new little African American girl!
Now she's the 80's rocker
I was hoping Amiya would have cookies baked for me...
