July Doings

I can't believe it is August now! Wow!

Both girls have begun to talk a little bit now which is so cute. They know many animal sounds, hi, bye-bye, up, ball, thank you (sounds like TANK), flag (sounds like FLA), mum mum (when they are hungry), and that (sounds like DAH). It is so neat that they are communicating with us. The favorite word of choice is ball of course. Amiya says BAAAAWWW and Arya says BAA.

Arya likes to wake up at night and scream ball. Its not funny or cute at 1 am in the morning.

Arya has many questions about everything. She points to every object all day long, and so I explain to her what everything is. She seems to point to the same things in the house over and over again. I guess she likes repetition! When she wakes up from sleeping she will scream and then the moment we pick her up, she happily says "bacha bacha pichu" and points to a object in her room. This has been a daily thing for the past couple of weeks!

Amiya loves doing her animal sounds. She has grasped onto animal sounds pretty quickly. She also knows the morning routine so when we are eating breakfast and Akhil is getting his things together for work...she continously says "bye-bye" and waves good-bye to him. She does this before he has even said goodbye to her and he is still getting all his things together. It's really cute how they have caught onto our routine and know that he will be leaving the house when they eat breakfast.

Both of them LOVE to bang on the gate. They think they gate is there for them to play with.

Fighting over who gets to look out the little window. I think Amiya won the battle and Arya was pushed down!

Here Amiya was pushing my suitcase around like it was a walker. They push any object all around the house. Our kitchen chairs typically end up on the other end of the house!
