Memorial Day weekend was a fun and busy weekend. Akhil was off the entire weekend and we had absolutely no plans with friends or family. So we decided to have fun filled family weekend with just the four of us. Arya and Amiya had a ton of fun! They couldn't stop smiling the entire weekend!
We first started out on Saturday morning by going to lunch at Cheesecake Factory. The morning was a bit chilly but it defintely warmed up by the time we left the resturant!

Amiya is being a goof by putting the napkin around her neck and saying it is mommy's winter scarf!
After lunch we visited Akhil's work. The girls ran around the lobby and had so much fun!
Amiya is amazed by all the "pretty pretty flowers" she sees
By this point, the girls think Daddy comes to work and plays with rocks
Later that day we went to Memphis Kiddie Park which is one of Cleveland fun little amusement parks for just toddlers. This place has been here since the 1950's and is still family owned and run.
Amiya bee-lined right to this bunny statue and didn't want to leave it's side!
She was SOOO excited to have fun on all the rides. Her excitement was just so cute!
Then she rode this bumpy, turny car ride and wasn't too pleased. Everytime she passed me she was scream "ALL DONE MOMMMMYYYY, ALL DONE!"
Teeny-tiny ferris wheel
It's funny how different the girls are. Arya would not get on a single ride. She only rode this carousal but wrapped her arms and legs around Akhil super tightly. She refused to sit on the
horse!
Later in the weekend we went swimming. Once again Amiya wanted to swim on her own and Arya was so scared and nervous. She held on SOO tightly to Akhil. But soon enough she calmed down and began to enjoy the pool!
Amiya loved this fountain!
Playing with the water table at home...getting soaking wet!
Then you have to end a fun long weekend with some ice cream!
Arya and Amiya sure loved their first tasting of ice cream!
