Trendy Toronto!

We just came back from our annual trip to one of our absolute favorite cities, Toronto! This was the first time that we went in the Fall time. We always go in the springtime but somehow this year, spring came and went. We tried to go this summer but other obligations came up so we could not go. Toronto is special to us because we have been going every year since we started dating and it just became a little tradition of ours to go every year. It is always so nice to get away to a beautiful city to eat, shop and hang out! Whenever we go to Toronto it is our mission to shop! The stores there are sooo awesome and before our currency began to sink it was so cheap for us to buy stuff there. Now that the US dollar is worth as much as the Canadian dollar we don’t save much on shopping, hotels, and food BUT we sure have fun! This is the one time of year that Akhil is actually willing and wanting to shop…I never say no to that! We did all our shopping on Bloor Street where all the latest brand names are located!


We had an Italian brunch at Toula at the Westin Hotel. The views and food were great but the ambience was a bit too classy for our taste. Another great place we had drinks at one night was called Panorama. This is the highest lounge with the best views of the city. This place is popular amongst the locals, which we totally are not surprised by. The views, music, and décor were great! We never ever go wrong with food! The best meal we had this weekend was at One which is at the new Hazelton Hotel. The food was amazing and they really hustle and bustle people in and out of this place!
